Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the most frequently asked questions we get about tree services. If you have any questions that we didn’t answer here or need some advice on the health or safety of a tree, give us a call. We’d love to hear from you.

How much does a tree removal cost?

The cost of removing a tree varies based on several factors. The size of the tree plays a big role followed by the condition of the tree, the location of the tree and how accessible it is. Other factors are what you want done with the trunk and branches after removal and if you want stump grinding. The entire process of a tree removal could cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand.

Tree removal is technical, dangerous, time consuming and often involves large commercial equipment so it is best to be left done by experienced professionals like Eisenhower Tree Care. We always offer free quotes for tree trimming and removal. Fill out a request for a quote below and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible

What is involved in the tree removal process?

Tree removal is a very technical process and methods of tree removal vary based on the size and location of the tree. For larger removals in residential areas we often use cranes to lift large pieces of the tree as they are cut to lower them safely to the ground instead of cutting the tree at the base to ensure that there is no damage to the property. We also often utilize aerial lifts and specific tree climbing gear to safely complete jobs. We don’t spike trees unless we are removing them. We have a chipper on site to remove branches and logs to clean up the entire site. We follow the latest tree industry standards to ensure our safety and yours.

Do you offer stump grinding?

Yes! We can tackle any size stump from small to large - mulching the wood to small chips without causing damage to your surrounding landscape. Let us handle the hassle and cleanup so you don't have to.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! We have general liability, auto, and workmen’s compensation insurance, and can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.

We are also licensed through all relevant local, state and federal channels.

How often should I get my trees trimmed?

This varies as there are several factors that determine how fast a tree grows such as water supply, soil conditions, and location on property. Most mature trees could use a good trim about every 3-5 years, younger trees would be every 1-3. Exceptions to this are that most fruit trees should be yearly, while evergreens can often go untouched for many years.
